Bleedthrumanade Recipe

Bleedthrumanade
Got Lemons, make lemonade; Got Bleed-thru, make bleedthrumanade.
Ingredients: Letraset Promarkers & (or any wet media-Copics, Sharpies,Watercolor, etc that bleeds thru to the back of the page)
Letraset Fineliners (or any non-bleedthru black pen)
Pentel Sunburst white Gel Pen (or any white gel pen, acrylic or ink)
3.5" x 7" (9 x 18 cm) Paperblanks Journal (or any paper that allows bleedthru to the back).

Preheat your self to FUN.

Directions:
Step 1.
Color one side with alchohol markers (or other wet media, such as watercolor, that might bleed thru), placing the different colors at random on the page.  Be sure to place cardboard or plastic sheet beneath so the bleed doesn't transfer to a third page or onto your clothes or furniture.  Run the colors together.  Vary your strokes between straight lines and squirkling.  Leave the white of the page showing if you wish.

Step 2: Tangle the front side with the black non-bleedthru pen.  Let the different colored sections be your string.  Or draw a string that picks up two colors for each section.  Or choose shapes that the color makes you think of.  Use the white gel pen to highlight your tangles, as desired.

Step 3.  Flip the page, and tangle the back side with a black non-bleedthru pen.  You can use the same tangles if you wish, but choose a different method for your string.  Don't hesitate to come up with totally new tangles if the bleed-thru suggests something to you.
